Key 1
So the first key is to understand the true purpose of your relationships in business.
This is simple.
The purpose of relating with your clients, team members and colleagues is to come together. To work together as one in order achieve a higher level of personal and business potential together.
Unity in order to experience a greater potential.
Once you know this you can focus on bringing the right kind of awareness to the relationship.
Key 2
The second key is become really clear about what it is that you do, how it is that you show up.
Identify the specific role you feel you play that holds you back from working together as one and optimizing your potential to be profitable.
Get clear on that, what it looks like, how you think feel and act that perpetuates that limiting role.
Then make a conscious choice to let it go.
Key 3
The third key is to now get clear on how it is that you need to be.
Know how it is that you need to show up.
Identify the specific role you know you need to play that will bring you into unity, enable you to work together as one, so you can optimize your potential to be profitable.
Have clarity on that, how you need to think feel and act.
It’s much like writing a character for a script or theatre production, so you know exactly what the new way of showing up is.
Know it like a role, make a conscious choice to play that role and no matter what happens in that relationship, no matter how much you’re triggered or seduced to behave differently – keep falling back on that role.
It’s a conscious choice.
Wrap up
So in short – play to the true purpose of your relationships by bringing total conscious awareness to the role you play
Now what’s going to happen is you’ll start to see just how unconscious you really can be in relationships.
It’s like holding a magnifying glass over your behavior that starts to train you to be more conscious about how you show up.
Eventually with enough practice you’ll find your self-adjusting easily to different people in different situations
The key is to practice it.
This really gets results, in fact sometimes it’s freaky how well this works
To get buy in, to build real rapport and to establish relationships that ultimately bring profits.
It also works a dream in personal relationships too, where we let the role of our work life blend into the home and our friendships.
